getting married

I just found out yesterday that my fiancé is getting his vacation time in March and we are flying to Vegas and having a Vegas wedding!!! I’m very nervous for some reason. I’ve been with my fiancé for almost five years and for some reason can’t believe we are actually going to get married. I’ve always thought I’d have a small intimate wedding outside and the whole nine yards, but now I think it would fun to get married in Vegas. I think I’m so nervous because my parents had a 2year separation and then divorce and it was bad. For a while there, I told myself if I’m happy with someone I don’t need to get married that way when I know it’s time to go I can just go, but I don’t think I could ever “get away” from my fiancé. We’ve lived together for almost three years, if I didn’t think it’d work out, I would have left by now. Any who, I’m getting married!!!

    CONGRATS!!!! All relationships have their troubles and when you think its hit rock bottom sometimes the luck changes. Just remember to be faithful, communicate, and loyal to one another and things will fall into place. As life goes on people do change and it takes work to keep a relationship and that’s any relationship. 50/50. You'll do fine and just think of marriage this way it's not that you're stuck with him think of it this way he's lucky to have you and you're lucky to have him.

    Congratulations to Jacqueline and ????? fiance. You have not named "him," yet.

    My parents were married 67 years. They smooched till they died. Somehow I failed to follow their example. . .

    I still believe in love and lasting relationships though. . . even now after two marriages and other relationships of different lengths. I wish you two the best.
