getting married

I just found out yesterday that my fiancé is getting his vacation time in March and we are flying to Vegas and having a Vegas wedding!!! I’m very nervous for some reason. I’ve been with my fiancé for almost five years and for some reason can’t believe we are actually going to get married. I’ve always thought I’d have a small intimate wedding outside and the whole nine yards, but now I think it would fun to get married in Vegas. I think I’m so nervous because my parents had a 2year separation and then divorce and it was bad. For a while there, I told myself if I’m happy with someone I don’t need to get married that way when I know it’s time to go I can just go, but I don’t think I could ever “get away” from my fiancé. We’ve lived together for almost three years, if I didn’t think it’d work out, I would have left by now. Any who, I’m getting married!!!

children and facebook or myspace

i know i'm too young to have a kid on facebook or myspace, but i have a neice that has both and she just turned 14. she has had this account for 2yrs. my neice has good pictures none of which are "dirty", but she does have some questioning friends and comments. she apparently got in an arguement on myspace with another person who was posting things under what she wrote. the girl and her got into an confritation at school and the other girl printed off what my neice said. her mom had no clue what she or the other was posting on the account. the mom also doesnt have a clue on who she is talkin to on there or where she knows them from. the mom does know that she has these things, but doesnt check them. i think that the mom should be checking this if she is allowing her to have this, but i thought myspace you are suppose to be 18? and isnt facebook suppose to be 14? facebook might be ok now, but she isn't old enough for myspace. some of the people she has as friends are random people that are older. i just couldnt believe she doesnt check it. ugh... times have changed and i'm only 21! (but i was raised with just a phone that i had to be off of by 7:30...)

o.k. i dont want to say where exactly i work, but wanted to see what some of you thought. i obvisouly dont have much work expirence and never expirenced a boss be disrespectal and talk crazy. i'll call my boss "john doe". so this "john" guy has made sexual comments towards me and one other girl, another girl he's went out with a couple times (seen it when i closed... he actually cam eback to pick her up... for some reason told me he was gonna get her lite at a bar and take her home!!! how crazy). he's called my friend very vulger names that i can't say on this. he has straight up told customs and employers that he doesn't care about us or the customers just wants their money and our time with no excuses. this guy is just horrible and i can't believe he is a general manager... anybody have any advice on how to handle it because i'm gettin ready to tell him off next time he makes my friend cry and is rude and disrespectful to me!...o ya he is the top dog manager besides the owner that isn't there you can't talk to or anything its just this crazy guy... thanks for letting me vent on you guys instead of him!!!

Anonymity can be good and bad. I like it in the sense that people don’t really know who I am (especially if I mess up!), but I like meeting people and being open. The flexibility isn’t as flexible as I thought when I first started, but I think it is easier for me to do besides going to a compass. I’m o.k. at teaching myself, but I would prefer a little more hands on or assigned work. I don’t seem to do the workbooks on my own or study much if it isn’t required, which could hurt me later down the road. I think sharing pictures helps put a face to the people we are in class with. I think that once we get this blogging thing down we will be able to connect better as well.
